Goodbye, Pearlie!

Well this is a very sad post. Our beloved Pearlie is leaving for Korea tomorrow morning! It really sucks to be separated from her for a whole year, but at the same time I can't wait for her to get there and have LOTSA FUN! And of course blog about all of it. =D

Anyway, while she's busy doing some last minute packing, I'll just post of the very last pictures we took together in the past month and a half...won't be seeing any of these for another year =(!

In case you're wondering, we did get a haircut in the last picture...it was also our last haircut together =( =( =(!

Well, that's all...like Pearlie said, nothing is going to change on the blog, besides the fact that Pearlie will have a lot more interesting stuff to blog about compared to me LOL. Let's hope she'll find time to share her life in Korea with us =) Pearlie, have a safe flight and enjoy the next year to the fullest!

New Red Bow~!

Hurray, our new layout and banner is all done =D. Well, we didn't have to do much...Pearlie tested out and tweaked the layout we picked out, we finalized the colours and font for the banner, I drew the bow and we just put it all together. Took like...half a day LOL. Easier than expected -_-" but we DID plan for it to look a bit more complex, it just didn't work out XD. ANYWAY we messed around while making the final touches to the updates so here are more random shots of how we spent our Victoria Day =)!

New Banner!

Just have to quickly point out the obvious before anyone notices and comments on it...NEW BANNER, YAY! Took me a couple hours to put it together. Doesn't mean it wasn't HARD though. I haven't used Photoshop and Illustrator in 3-4 years, so drawing those bows were a bit of a pain -_-". But anyway, it's done! It adds some colour to our rather plain blog, so hopefully you'll feel a little less blah when you come visit.

Ahh, now that that's out of the way, time to plan out my hectic schedule for tomorrow night. There's so much to do just to get ready for a simple dinner with girlfriends...being a girl sure is a pain sometimes -_-"

Okay so I couldn't wait. I mean, I was sitting in front of my laptop in an empty classroom at 7:30am. And class starts at 8:30 by the way -_-" What else can I do besides adding the finishing touches to the new FC2 blog?

WHERE DID WE GO?!

Hello, helloooo.

It's been a long two weeks since we've updated, and you can probably guess why. I've just finished my last mid term today while Pearlie is still suffering through a couple more lab reports/assignments she has to do. School sucks -_-" But anyway, that explains where we went....but what have we been up to? Well...here's what happened to me for the past few weeks, and what to expect me to blog about (excluding school related stuff)...

-MY BIRTHDAY. >>nothing special really, but I do have some pictures to share (spent a day with my girlfriends ;) and of course mister D!!)

-my birthday presents!! >>I didn't get much besides money, but I do have a couple items to share with you~

-PSYLOCKE COMIQUETTE!! >>she has arrived! Lots of pretty pictures to come on this statue.

-announcement on a new blog! >>yeees, mister D and I are making a blog dedicated to our collectibles, but we haven't finalized anything yet, though I can tell you now it'll be an FC2 blog (love their cute layouts ^^)

-CARNAGE COMIQUETTE...coming soon >>he's ALMOST HERE. More like...this Wednesday! Pictures pictures pictures ^^

-food review! >>look forward to an "interesting" food review from me...heheheh. HEHEHEHEH.

So that's a general idea of what to look forward to from me in the next little while, and I'll try to update more regularly since my next big assignment and exams aren't coming up just yet. Ooooh yes one final exciting piece of news (for me at least), I've discovered an interesting place where I can download A LOT of paid android apps for my phone for free...WAHAHAHA. So I'm currently playing around with that =D.

"Contact Us" update

So here's another post that you can just skim and forget about because it's not important but I just felt the need to tell you and blah blah blah.

In the contact us section, I removed the link to my formspring because I forgot the password AND login, so it really is quite useless now XD OOPSIES. And, I let everyone know that my dailybooth is pretty dead lately because no one I know seems to use that thing anyway, so no point putting important updates in my life up there...soooo if you want to see random pictures I post whenever I remember to log in there, by all means go visit me on dailybooth. HOWEVER, if you seriously want to talk to me or am interested in ME ME ME AND ME, then the.red.bow and my facebook will have the most recent updates. Lalala okay that's all, time to shut up~

Happy one month, Mikayla!!

Okay I am completely drained. I just got back internet not too long ago, and I finally fixed what needed to be fixed on this blog. Now I'm too tired to do anything else x____x. Anyway, you'll be happy to know the More About Us section is complete (omg so damn frustrating fixing the stupid html problems from copying the stuff from Word...you have NO IDEA), and I also made a contact tab. WHEW. Oh yes, today was baby Mikayla's one month! She's been in this world for one whole month now....woohoooo! It's going to be a bumpy road ahead of her, but I know she'll do just fine. SUPPORT MIKAYLA, EVERYONE!!!
