Cheap cases, yo.

Wow I am turning into Pearlie (aka super duper lazy blogger)! Lol just kidding =P I think I'm worse because she rarely blogs due to crazy (sometimes unnecessary) stress from work, while I rarely blog because I'm too busy being lazy. Haha XD.

Anyway, how did everyone's Christmas go? Lots of yummy food, yeah? I had amazing food nearly 4-5 nights in a row, totally gained a crap load of weight =(! I'm sure I'll lose it again from stress once school starts, which is soon (NOOOOOOO!!!!!). Did anyone get any awesome gifts?!?! I got some pretty snazzy ones, once I manage to snap some shots of them I'll blog about my gifts =D. AND WHAT ABOUT NEW YEARS PLANS?! I feel like the rest of my break is going to go by really fast because I have some yummy plans from tomorrow right through to the last day before school starts again. FACK, I really don't like that...I'll probably cry the night before school, complaining about how it's over too soon (like a big baby =P).

So I was at a loss as to what to blog about today, because I haven't taken photos for anything (presents, my December book) or even uploaded event photos (meeting Pearlie, girlfriends, family, yum food shots, etc.) and I didn't want to just type a huge blurb since no one wants to read on this blog lol. Thus I decided to tell you guys about some SERIOUSLY awesome deals I got on iPod cases online =). Don't ask me why I didn't get an iPhone instead, I'm so sick of that question -_-". On to the pictures!

This was the first case I bought at Pacific Mall. I stuck the apple sticker on it because it looked more interesting lol. I was RIPPED OFF. As expected from that stupid mall. Paid $16, found the same thing online for like $2. effffff.

Here are the ones I got from a really good site, FocalPrice! Love this place because it's free shipping and everything is super cheap! It says it's a China-based web store, but when I got the package it was from the States....not sure how that works. They explain it on their site but I didn't read into it. Anyway, it came MUCH faster than other China web stores I've bought from....my stuff came here in 2 weeks, as opposed to the usual 1 month wait from Chinese sites that offer free shipping too.

Because I'm such a loser, I got Transformer stickers for the home button =P you only see autobots because...

THAT'S RIGHT, my pod is a decepticon. WOOHOO! And what's even better is that I'm using the hello kitty case here. LOL!!! Evil kitty robot alien, anyone? These are really great, love that they're aluminum (or so they say)...shiny =D

other stuff I got from the site....

Got two of these, one for Pearlie ;) we use them when applying mascara, to prevent it from smudging on our eye lids =P.

I bought one more item but I didn't take pictures of it since it was a "secret" present....LOL. It was a super cute jean material iPhone4 case! It was for my girly =D. I think the total for everything was around $20 (maybe a bit less, can't remember) with the most expensive being the iPhone case, and the cases just for the iPods were less than $15. Basically, 4 cases were less than the one case I got from Pacific Mall. Sheesh....definitely never buying cases anywhere else ever again!!!

Tomorrow is Christmas!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas already...where did the whole month of December go? And I still had work yesterday -__-" (though I think many others did too :P).

Anyways, I shall stop complaining now. Library Challenge - November 2011!

Oh man I am SO late. I've been very good and I bought the books every month (more than one heheh) but then I put off blogging about it LOL. Here is last month's book...

Amphigorey by Edward Gorey

This book is a very old one. It's somewhat of a picture book, but compared to my October book the style is MUCH darker. It feels very Tim Burton-esque but less cutesy in terms of artwork. A bit of a depressing read for some, but I enjoy it =)

Well, hope you enjoyed that (haha it's a bit of a boring book I know -_-). I already have December's book and I promise it is going to be SUPER DUPER AWESOME! I can't really talk about it yet because it's under the Christmas tree and I have to act surprised when I unwrap it...lol. Anyway, I'll try my best to get back into the habit of blogging regularly...been so lazy lately. Until next time~

I am so laaaazy. Lol =P I just got home from some Christmas shopping (I'm nearly done, just 3 small ones left heheh) and I am just ready to crawl into bed and watch dramas for the rest of the day hahaha. Thought I should update this blog before I let myself get TOO behind, especially since Pearlie is still quite busy. I mentioned in one of the photo diary entries about the fatty cat Kobe, my sister's orange cat. So it must've sounded bad in that post but really we just gave him away to another family because he can't be dealt with anymore (no time!!). He's with a good family now, and he's receiving the attention he craves for so that's good. Here's Kobe, last day before he was picked up:

Here's another short entry because I'm sick as hell and can't sleep. Hate how blogger app puts pictures in random order -_-!! Anyway this is a compilation of...
-two birthday cakes, because my two siblings are November babies! Mango mousse and white chocolate cake...yum!
-a lovely dinner cooked by my brother (yum chicken and roast beef...sure knows how to fatten me up lol)
-favourite nail polish of the month sandy nude brown =)
-empty classroom at 7am...sketched!
-a series of marvel and DC shirts which I've recycled over and over as my entire month's school attire...mixed with various toques. Will I ever get over this nerd phase?
-saying goodbye to Kobe, the fatty orange cat...will do more detailed post on him soon.
-nail stickers and nail art fimo arrived in the mail AT LAST.
-assorted tea packs which I brew with honey to soothe my sore throat
-assorted Liole stuff I bought to try out! There's dark eye circle cream, under
eye concealer, and a matte brown shadow. (Just realized I bought the eye cream without confirming it with my girlfriends...crap. Hope that wasn't my present! See what happens when I try to shop after my birthday Pearlie?!? Lol)

Ok I'm exhausted, I need to sleep or I'm going to die tomorrow =/ hate being sick and having to study. Can't wait till this is over damnit. Anyway I'll get back to normal soon. So long!

Novermber 2011 Luxebox = Super stuffed.

So as my title explains, I got my November Luxebox which is basically this monthly thing where they send me some random beauty samples and what not (soooo bad at explanations, see website for details).

I was SO overwhelmed that I just had to show it to you guys. I was sort of suspicious what was in it since it super heavy when I took it out of the shipping box. I thought it was some glass bottle thing. I saw the Teaopia coupon and thought "oh cool, we got tea samples." But it was in the cutest little tin box EVER! Ahhh so loving this month's stuff. Here it is:

So basically here's what's in it, sort of following the order in the picture...

Teaopia Cactus Fig kit
This came in the orange tin (it's just so ridiculously cute!) and the brown paper filters! I haven't tried it yet but it smells so good...felt very wintery to me =)

Moroccanoil Styling Cream
Wow this is awesome. I use Moroccanoil and various argan oil products after I started dying my hair more often and they REALLY HELP. This is going to be veeeery useful =D Only down side to this is that it smells just like every other Moroccanoil product, which lacks the sweet vanilla-ish scent of the other brands.

Benefit B. Right! Moisture Prep Toning Lotion
Never tried a Benefit product before, so this is interesting ;). Liking the ingredients list so far, and I do need a proper lotion...this came at the right time lol.
***oopsies, just went back and actually READ the description of this and it's actually a toner =P. How misleading is "toning lotion" though, right? Lol XD***

Lise Watier Plumpissimo Le Gloss
Colour is veeery sheer, quite nice. I'd describe it as a dusty pink with gold shimmer. I don't use lipgloss that often but I am pretty happy since this is the first time I got any lip stuff from Luxebox to try (about time? lol)

A bonus perhaps? Wasn't listed in the card, so I dunno. But COOL! I need this...@.@

Paco Rabanne Black XS for Her and Black XS
These two fragrance keychains look so cute!  I think I'm going to end up using both...the men's one isn't very "masculine" like the men's cologne I've gotten a whiff of (ugh, never again). They are so nice...I like how the men's one looks like a lighter, you actually open it like one ;)

And that is my very lengthy thoughts on this month's Luxebox. I usually don't write reviews for these things because there are so many out there and I'm too lazy to do it...but this one was just too cool not to share haha.

Hello Kitty x Forever 21 = Cuteness Overload :)

I know I said that my next post was suppose to be the looooooong overdue part two of my haul from the MAC sale but that post is taking way too long to finish T-T and thus it shall be uploaded another day. (Sorry! -__-")

Just like what the title says, I'm going to talk about the new exclusive collaboration between Forever 21 and Sanrio for a limited edition Hello Kitty fashion collection. (FYI: I'm usually not crazy over Hello Kitty stuff, but some of the items in this collection are just too cute to not talk about xD).

This collection includes a wide variety of items ranging from cute accessories (like rings, scarves, umbrella, tote bag and pouches) to socks/tights and also cardigans, sweaters, logo tees and even a maxi dress! The limited edition Forever 21 for Hello Kitty collection will be available in stores and online starting on November 18th and their prices range from USD $3.80 to $30.
